Whether you're creating a masterpiece or taking a test, choosing a pencil can be an important decision. The quality of a graphite pencil can be affected by many elements, such as graphite lead, shape, wood and so on.
Recently, the biggest e-news media in Hungary, Dívány conducted a test about selecting the best graphite pencil. The result shows that Deli HB graphite pencil gets 4.4 points (5 points total) which is the best HB graphite pencil brand in Hungary.
We went through several well-known stores for our test, we totally collected 15 HB graphite pencils. Our immersion included triangular and hexagonal shapes to see if there was a significant difference. Spoiler: The result showed no strangeness.

As mentioned above, this time we gave the opportunity for testing to children who tried to use pencils from the point of view of their grip, how well they can be drawn and drawn, and their erasability.
Depending on their hardness, pencils are graded from 9H to 9B (Derwent's scale), 10H to 8B (Koh-i-Noor), 9H to 8B (Staedtler). Here, H stands for hard, B stands for black, while F stands for fine. We chose the "HB" version for our test because it is the most suitable type of pencil for writing.
In order to get a closer look at the usability of each pencil, we show not only the standard product photos, but also a line to illustrate how they will be drawn on paper.

1st place: Deli Ergonomic Triangular Barrel HB Graphite Pencil with Eraser - 4.4 points (599 HUF / 3 pcs)
The triangular Deli product is more expensive, but in return it is almost perfect. At least according to the kids, who said they were comfortable to wear overall, they could peel well, they would be strong, and they might even be superb. The only criticism that has been raised is that it is too long, but that is perhaps forgivable.
• Good scrubbing, not easy to smear, good.
• Pencil with good grip and good grip.

2nd place: Office Depot Niceday HB Graphite Pencil with Eraser - 4.2 points (298 Forints / 12 pieces)
Office Depot's hexagonal pencil is a pretty good deal compared to how good it is: a piece of paper for $ 25. The schoolchildren present mainly liked the fact that it is very easy and comfortable to catch and that it can be exquisitely erased. Just not with the eraser at the end, because it just "splits" the writing.

3rd place: Faber-Castell Grip 2001 HB Graphite Pencil with Eraser - 4 points (410 HUF / item)
• It's good to have such a "berry" surface, it's very good to catch. A little faint.
• Good grip and eraser.
• Very good tactile, easy, easy to eradicate.
• I've used it last year, the tip is too easy to break.

4th place: PAX S-Line HB Graphite Pencil - 3.8 points (290 forints / 2 pieces)
Opinions about the triangular PAX graphite pencil were divided, but most of them found it comfortable and beautiful. Its advantages were that it was light and easy to peel and its disadvantage was that it was "stinky".
5th place: Pelikan Silverino HB Graphite Pencil - 3.8 points (329 Forints / 3 pieces)
The triangular Pelikan product also shared the youth. Some of them thought it was going to be strong and good because they wouldn't rub their hands, but the other half just pointed out that it was dark and slipped out of their hands.
6th place: Maped Black`Peps HB Graphite Pencil with Eraser - 3.6 points (150 HUF / item)
The Maped pencil in triangular design received both cold and warmth. Most people said that he wrote nicely, the pivotal point was his erasability (mainly with the eraser at the end) and his grip on what some called good, others called slippery and uncomfortable.
7th place: Maped Black`Peps Decorated HB Graphite Pencil - 3.6 points ($ 0.95 / piece)
The other Maped product, which was beautiful, strong in color, and relatively well eroded, was similarly tested , but there was no consensus on how to catch it. The evaluation sheets included 'good', 'bad' and 'too smooth' descriptions.
8th place: SPAR Office HB Graphite Pencil with Eraser - 3.6 points (169 forints / 4 pieces)
“Your catch is weird, you have to push it to catch it properly. Leave a mark after erasing, "a child wrote about SPAR's hexagonal pencil. The others added that it was nice red, nice to draw with it, but uncomfortable, the eraser does not erase or will hold too hard.
9th place: Stabilo Opera 285 / HB Graphite Pencil - 3.6 points (110 HUF / piece)
According to our testers, Stabilo's triangular product caught heavily and darkly, but it was easy to smear. There is no consensus on how comfortable and well-erased it is.
10th place: ICO Signetta Design HB Graphite Pencil - 3.4 pts
It has a good grip, but it leaves a mark on erasure and wears out quickly, meaning that its tip runs out very quickly - our enthusiastic assistants have come to a consensus on the ICO's triangular pencil.
11th place: Koh-I-Noor Hardtmuth 1500 HB Graphite Pencil - 2.8 points ($ 5 / piece)
The hexagonal Koh-I-Noor product received mixed ratings. It has been said to have a good grip and is well-eroded, but actually faint, so you have to press on the paper to hold it at all, or even a bit uncomfortable.
12th place: Stabilo Trio 361 / HB Graphite Pencil - 2.6 points
The triangular Stabilo product has received only medium or lower ratings. Most of our participants had the problem of being slippery, rubbing their fingers over long drawings, and difficult to erase, but for example, someone found it to have a good grip and a good grip.
13th place: All Stars HB flexible graphite pencil - 2.2 points (249 HUF / 3 pieces)
The hexagonal All Stars pencil lost points for being light and soft for our testers and problems with erasability. His catch was rated as moderate.
14th place: Herlitz Skizzo HB Graphite Pencil - 2 pts (299 HUF / 4 pieces)
With the Herlitz Hexagonal pencil, almost everyone has pointed out that it has a poor grip because it has a very abrasive surface and is even difficult to erase and is "interesting", "jerky".
15th place: BIC Evolution 655 Graphite Pencil - 1.8 pts (399 Forints / 4 pieces)
"It's like writing with jelly candy," one of our testers pointed out, and more people agreed with his vision. The BIC racer simply looked too soft, pale and difficult to handle.
